The President’s Message For The Year 2017

2017 – OUR YEAR OF DIVINE ELEVATION

Beloved in the Lord as we prepare to enter a brand new year we are bound to give all praise and adoration to God for his loving care and his mercies which have kept us together as a ministry through the various challenges and experiences that we have had to go through.

In our year of taking new territories we placed emphasis on taking bold steps to build the Kingdom of God and allowing our minds to undergo change to position ourselves for the mew things that God has in store for us. We thus trusted the Lord for new territories in reaching out to new locations to establish branches, new territories in giving and serving God differently and new territories in building stronger and better relationships with each other among others. In 2016 we experienced the grace of God as we took some of these bold steps to change the face of the ministry and we give glory to God for keeping faith with us.

In the year 2017 our vision is cogently summarized in Ephesians 2 v 6. And he raised us up together with Him and made us to sit down together giving us joint seating with him in the heavenly sphere by virtue of our being in Christ Jesus the Messiah, the Anointed One (Amplified Bible)

We have been called with a high calling and this calls for a higher level of service and commitment to God. In this year we will experience this repositioning in every facet of our lives as a church, as families and as individuals.

This elevation is from God. He is the one who has raised us up so our principal focus will be on what God can do and has done for us. When he elevates us man cannot demote us. We are being elevated from the target of the adversary so we  are believing God that in this year of divine elevation no weapon fashioned against us will find us (Isaiah 54 v 17). We will escape the traps of the enemy because we have been elevated above his range.

We will also experience elevation by taking leadership positions in all that we do We will be the head always and not the tail because we have been elevated (Deut 28 v 13) God will grant us wisdom to undertake new initiatives as a church and ministry and grant us the grace of leadership to be above only and not beneath. This will be reflected in great testimonies of honor and promotion and innovation especially in our vocations.

In this year we will experience the limitless surpassing riches of God’s grace and his kindness and goodness (Ephesians 2 v 7) this will be the acting out of divine elevation.

When we are divinely elevated our vision and perspective undergoes a radical change. Impossibilities become possible and barriers are removed because our position has changed. Our new position now enables us to sit with Jesus Christ in joint rulership so that as he is so shall we be in this world (1 John 4 v 17). This year will thus be characterized by enlarged vision and great victories because we are ruling with Christ.

Divine elevation will also align us closer to God’s purpose for our lives as we set our affections on heavenly ideals (Colossians 3 v 1-2). In this year there will be a renewed impetus to plan and implement with renewed strength activities that yield heavenly dividends such as reaching out to our communities with the Gospel and also supporting the poor and the afflicted and helpless. (Matthew 25 v 37-40)

Divine elevation will link us to the power of Christ’s resurrection and will enable us to manifest the power of God against every attack from Hell. The benefits of the resurrection will be demonstrably manifest in all of our services and activities as yokes are broken and curses reversed. Closed doors to our divine destinies will be opened and dominions, principalities, rulers and powers will give way in this year in increasing measure. (Ephesians 1 v 17-23).

In this year God will resurrect his divine purposes through our obedience and our recognition of the unique position he has given to us(Colossians 2 v 13). Divine elevation will enable us to exercise more spiritual firepower as we pray and confront the challenges that lie ahead of us in this new year. Divine elevation will always give us an advantage as we appropriate the provision of Heaven and because we are divinely elevated we cannot fail. We will soar as the eagle, displacing all opposition and overcoming all barriers, with our eyes firmly fixed on the author and perfector of our faith and no height will be too high for us to scale.

May God give us a revelation of divine elevation which will catapult us to new victories in 2017?

Have a blessed New Year.

2016 – OUR YEAR OF TAKING NEW TERRITORIES

We are at the threshold of a new year by the grace of God and it is time for us to lift up our heads and to consider what God has for us on his time table.
The New Year represents new opportunities, newchallenges new associations new relationships among others
We have a great opportunity to experience God in a new way and to live our lives more deliberately with our ultimate goals in mind.

We will also meet new challenges and fight new battles and so must be prepared to do things differently in order to be continually victorious.

We serve a God of new beginnings and he is giving us a new lease of life to become what and who he intended us to be.
New territories represent all that God has in store for us as individuals, families and as a ministry. Taking new territories must bring the very best out of us and make us a blessing to others. Taking new territories must make us grow and become mature in serving God Taking new territories must literally transform us and reposition us to carry out the  Great Commission of our Lord which is to take the gospel to all nations.

We must take new territories in our minds by beginning think like Caleb who said ‘We are well able to take the land” (Numbers 13 v 30)

In this year we will by the grace of God seek to develop our minds and our attitudes and move from grass hopper mentalities to giant -killer mentalities. This will mean waiting on the Lord for direction to do big things for the Kingdom. In this year we will not be satisfied with the marginal growth we have been experiencing we will lift up our eyes by first lifting up our minds. We cannot take new territories if we do not conquer our minds. God will do more that we ask or think about (Ephesians 3 v 20) so this must be a year of thinking big.

To take new territories we must also begin to move up (Deut 2 v3) we indeed have roamed around certain mountains long enough and it is time for us to move northward or upwards. This means doing things excellently with a desire to please our Lord whose standards are higher than that of men .As we seek to take new territories we must stick to the very best in terms of preparation and the impact of our service must be lasting. The days of being satisfied with mediocre performance must be over We must move upwards .We must also move upwards in terms of our Christian conduct and ethics We must remember that we are accountable to God and do all things with his glory in mind (Colossians 3 v 17).We must remember we have a charge to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5 v 14-16).We  must also remember that Jesus is coming for a spotless bride (Eph 5 v 25-27)that upholds divine standards in service and also conduct. We also need to excel in our giving as we take a cue from the church in Macedonia (2 Cor 8 v 1-7)

In this New Year we are trusting God to plant the soles of our feet on new geographical territories and take these territories for our Lord (Joshua 1 v 1-5)

Branches must expand in depth and also in reach .We must plant the flag of Jesus in new places as we set up new branches of the church .The earth is the Lords and we must make him known everywhere to everyone. Departments must grow and outreaches must increase so that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our God and his Christ. We must be more visible in our communities as we show them the love of God in practical ways.

In taking new territories we must be ready for new challenges and we must have the attitude of winners .For every tribe that Joshua had to conquer God provided a strategy and he will guide us as we take these new territories There will be times to go round in silence and times to blow the trumpet and times to shout. There will be times to retreat strategically and times to fight from the front but in all these we must be led by the Holy Spirit and we must know that we are part of a victory parade (2 Corinthians 2 v 14)

The call to bring in the harvest sounds louder now than ever before and we must go out with the gospel of peace and salvation more aggressively and passionately than we have ever done before (John 4 v 35). This calls for prayer, planning and performance. We can only take the territories that we plant our feet on .We must therefore put on the shoes of the gospel and let Christ be known everywhere he will lead us.

Taking new territories will be characterized by strengthening of our existingchurches, opening of new churches, venturing into new areas of Kingdom activity, increased community based activity and excellence in all that we do.

We have come to the point where we need to take some big steps of faith to conquer the lands that God has already given to us. He has promised to be with us and also not to fail nor forsake us. It is therefore time to courageously move in the direction of growth and excellence .Let us remember that we will take these new territories together.

Have a very blessed and productive year of taking new territories for our King

“Today, I’m going to have a problem with………………..”

This morning, as I cleared my yahoo inbox before getting out of bed, I read an e-mail from Amazon regarding a refund of an item that I had recently returned to them. Not only did they refund me on the wrong item (which was about half the cost of what I had actually returned), they also charged me shipping cost (contrary to what I was told) leaving me with a total refund of $0.45! As I was in the bathroom getting ready to go out to help the kids get ready for school, I thought to myself “Today, I’m going to have a problem with Amazon”. Almost immediately, I got a check in my spirit and my next thought was “Why do you choose to have a problem?” Immediately, I corrected my thoughts and decided that whatever the outcome of the call to customer service was, I would maintain a positive attitude.

I made the call later on in the morning & I had no problems whatsoever, (needless to say that I still had a little anxiety). In addition to a full refund of the cost of the item, the representative also told me to keep the $0.45 which had been refunded earlier. Then I remembered Proverbs 23:18–For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. What is your expectation for each day you wake up? What is your expectation in the situation you’re currently facing, whether good or bad? Whatever your expectation is, remember that it will not be cut off!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
